Rakani Art Colony begins in Novi Grad

The Rakani Art Colony begins today in Novi Grad, bringing together nine academically trained painters who will seek inspiration along the banks of the Una River.

The art colony will run until August 17.

Founded in 1985, Rakani has a long tradition of bringing artists together in the natural surroundings of the Una River.

This year, for the first time, the colony is part of the “Network of Art Colonies in BiH” project, supported by the Goethe-Institut.

The opening of this year’s colony will be marked by an exhibition featuring works created during last year’s gathering.
