The 11th Festival of Serbian Folklore will be held tomorrow and the day after tomorrow at Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka.
The festival is organized by the “Veselin Masleša” Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs, and the event will bring together cultural and artistic societies with the aim of preserving and promoting Serbian tradition, dance, song and cultural heritage.
“This year’s Festival is given special significance by the participation of Serbian folklore societies from the diaspora, which once again confirms the event’s role as a meeting place for the Serbian people and a space for connecting through shared culture, tradition and national heritage,” the organizers said.
The central event of the festival will be a concert by performing ensembles, scheduled for Saturday, July 11, at 9 p.m., also on the summer stage of Kastel. The ticket price is 5 KM, while admission is free for preschool children.
The organizers invite all lovers of folklore and traditional culture to attend the main concert evening and be part of an event that for eleven years has worthily presented and affirmed the finest values of Serbian tradition.
