Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar stressed the need to protect Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In a post on X, Sa’ar expressed his satisfaction following talks with Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović, noting that Serbs are sincere friends of Israel and the Jewish people.
Sa’ar said that he and Cvijanović also discussed the importance of strengthening ties between the Serb and Jewish peoples.
Cvijanović is currently visiting Israel, where she is participating in the International Policy Summit in Jerusalem.
The Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled to address the evening plenary session.
