Vasily Nebenzya stated that the situation of Serb prisoners in international tribunals has taken on the character of a flagrant violation of human rights.
In a post on Telegram, Nebenzya recalled that Ratko Mladić is being held in a United Nations detention facility in critical condition, despite humanitarian appeals for his transfer for medical treatment.
“At the same time, Radovan Karadžić is subjected to psychological pressure in a prison in the United Kingdom, with the tacit consent of the international Mechanism. These cases expose the hypocrisy of the West, which advocates humanism in words while in reality tolerating torture,” Nebenzya emphasized.
According to him, the Mechanism has long turned into an anachronism that should be abolished immediately.
