Milorad Dodik stated in an interview with Russian media that Russian President Vladimir Putin has managed to “define an era,” describing him as a unique figure who gives hope not only to Russians, but to all of civilization.
“President Putin is a unique and irreplaceable figure of our time. He gives hope not only to Russia, but to civilization as a whole, because he demonstrates that there are different ways to fight for freedom — not through dictates or methods that are merely another form of fascism. President Putin recognized in time that neoliberal values posed a threat to Russia and its people, and he responded accordingly,” Dodik stated.
According to Dodik, had someone like Putin not emerged at that moment, the world today would be living under a unipolar order controlled by a small circle of Western powers.
“They would have divided Russia, as they intended, and exploited all of its national natural resources,” he added.
Dodik described the Russian leader as a symbol of a new civilization and a multipolar world order.
“Putin was forced, and Russia was forced, to launch the Special Military Operation because he understood that the West had crossed a red line and was attempting to destabilize Russia’s political and internal structure. He symbolically represents everything that stands against the West. He is a man who listens to those who speak to him and respects them. He does not impose his decisions on others and does not use threats. Yet that is exactly what we see from the West,” Dodik said.
He further claimed that Western countries repeatedly violate agreements and treaties.
“They lied when they signed the Dayton Agreement, when they signed the Kumanovo Agreement regarding Serbia and Kosovo, and the same happened with the Minsk Agreements,” Dodik stated.
According to him, Putin is the complete opposite of the image presented about him in the West.
“That is why it was an honor for me to once again speak with Putin on the day of the great Victory celebration. We not only congratulate him, but also thank him for continuing to be a symbol of hope for free humanity — not only for us Serbs, but for many Europeans as well,” Dodik emphasized.
He added that Russia and the Russian people are fortunate to have Vladimir Putin as president because, in his words, he continues to preserve stability, national unity, and hope for what Dodik called “free humanity.”
Dodik also claimed that Volodymyr Zelenskyy attempted to purchase weapons worth 400 million dollars from Bosniak political representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to Dodik, an agreement had allegedly been reached between Bosniak representatives and the government in Kyiv regarding the delivery, but Republika Srpska did not approve the sale.
He further stated that Kyiv had already made advance payments and that Bosniak officials could now face legal proceedings because the agreement could not be fulfilled.
The SNSD leader denied that weapons from Republika Srpska had ended up in Ukraine.
“If we are talking about official channels, not even a single magazine of ammunition will end up there, because our people — the Serbs in Republika Srpska — would never give their consent. No weapons can legally be sent to Ukraine, even through intermediaries,” Dodik concluded.
