Milorad Dodik wrote that Christian Schmidt has effectively “resigned to himself,” adding that the period he marked had already ended before he realized it. He then turned to Luigi Soreca, stating that Soreca remains in the same position “as if the calendar were stuck in 2022.”
In an op-ed published on dodik.net, Dodik argued that instead of acting as a European representative who builds bridges and reconciliation, Soreca has remained “a prisoner of an outdated narrative.”
Using a metaphor related to Italian cuisine, Dodik wrote that Soreca “never stopped enjoying a ‘Pizza Murphy’ with old cheese Biden,” describing it as a mix of rhetoric, pressure, and sanctions, without what he called real substance.
He claimed that Soreca failed to recognize geopolitical changes and neglected internal potentials in Bosnia and Herzegovina, instead aligning himself primarily with one political narrative in Sarajevo.
Dodik argued that the “foundation” of any serious policy should have been clear: consistent respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He concluded his text by introducing what he called a new concept — “Pizza Responsabilità” — stating that its foundation is responsibility, and that “the only real ingredient it needs is resignation.”
According to Dodik, positions that last too long without adapting “lose both purpose and value,” and he suggested that the current situation reflects that outcome.
