Zlatan Klokić stated that the upcoming visit of the delegation from Saint Petersburg to Republika Srpska represents confirmation of international cooperation and friendly relations with the Russia.
“The visit is proof that Republika Srpska is a friend of the Russian Federation and confirmation that we are strengthening ties with partners and those who wish well to Republika Srpska,” Klokić said during an appearance on RTRS morning program.
He recalled that cooperation intensified in 2017 following the signing of an agreement initiated by Milorad Dodik at the time.
According to Klokić, an office of Republika Srpska was opened in Saint Petersburg in 2019, contributing to stronger cooperation in several areas.
The Russian delegation is expected to meet with senior officials of Republika Srpska, with the visit focused on economic cooperation, healthcare, science, and culture.
Planned activities also include visits to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and the University Hospital Foča, as well as participation in roundtable discussions dedicated to culture, healthcare, and science.
As part of the program, the Saint Petersburg Opera Chamber Musical Theatre will hold a concert, while visitors will also be able to see the photo exhibition “Shrines of Saint Petersburg” and screenings of film excursions titled “Hero City Leningrad.”
