SNSD President Milorad Dodik expressed his sincere and deepest condolences, as well as respect and sympathy, to the President of Israel Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the occasion of Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, marked today at Yad Vashem.
“The State of Israel today commemorates six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, as well as Jewish resistance during that period. The innocent victims of the Holocaust, as well as the heroes of Israel, must never be forgotten,” Dodik stated, emphasizing that Republika Srpska remains firmly supportive of Israel.
In his message to the Israeli Prime Minister, Dodik added that the Holocaust is the darkest stain on the face of Europe, which must be remembered forever with respect, while also preventing any attempt to revive such evil forces anywhere and against anyone.
“Only in this way will remembrance be complete, and our struggle a meaningful and noble cause. On this solemn occasion, I take the opportunity to express my deepest respect,” Dodik concluded.
