The decision to establish the Office for International Cooperation was made following everything Republika Srpska has gone through over the past year and a half, acting director Ana Trišić Babić said in a statement to RTRS.
“We have learned a great deal from that period, which was very traumatic for us, and we have achieved a lot as well. We realized that Republika Srpska, and Banja Luka in particular, needs an Office for International Cooperation,” Trišić Babić said.
She added that the Office will be directly connected to the president of Republika Srpska, the prime minister, ministers, and the National Assembly, and will further extend its coordination to local communities.
“The goal is to have all projects, plans, and strategies consolidated in one place, and from that office distribute them to ministries, local communities, as well as the offices of the president and the prime minister of Republika Srpska,” Trišić Babić stated.
