A poetry evening titled Santa Maria della Salute was held in Doboj, performed by actor Vojin Ćetković.
During the performance, Ćetković recounted key moments from his life and career and recited verses from various genres by contemporary world poets, as well as works by domestic classics.
Compared to acting, he said that reciting poetry represents a new challenge for him, but one that allows him to connect with the audience in a different way.
“I think there is no person who, when hearing a verse, does not pause and reflect. Poetry penetrates deeply into us, and people have a strong need to hear verses. Here I have the opportunity to establish a different kind of communication with the audience. I also believe it is very important to speak poetry — I have been doing it for a long time, since childhood,” said actor Vojin Ćetković.
