The event “Momo Kapor: Guardian of an Address,” dedicated to one of the most important writers, painters, and publicists of the 20th century, Momo Kapor, continues tonight in East Sarajevo.
A literary evening is scheduled at the Cultural Center East New Sarajevo, with a focus on the literary oeuvre of Academician Matija Bećković, a close friend of Kapor.
The literary evening, during which Bećković’s new books will be presented, begins at 6:00 p.m.
The closing segment of the event will be reserved for a literary evening dedicated to Kapor himself.
In addition to Bećković, speakers on Kapor’s work will include Sanda Rašković Ivić and Darko Đogo, Dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Foča. This literary evening is scheduled for March 2, starting at 6:00 p.m.
The patrons and organizers of the event are the Faculty of Philosophy, University of East Sarajevo, the Cultural Club Fronesis, the City of East Sarajevo, and the municipalities of East New Sarajevo and East Ilidža.
