“In Sarajevo, March 1 is celebrated as the day the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina began, while November 21—the day the Dayton Peace Agreement was initialed—is an ordinary working day. In Republika Srpska, today, March 1, is a Day of Mourning, and on November 21 we celebrate peace and the day the armed conflict was stopped,” said Željka Cvijanović.
“Differences are clear—that is why Bosnia and Herzegovina has no law on public holidays,” Cvijanović wrote on X.
