The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov, said that Russia and Republika Srpska are fighting to preserve their traditional values and that he is confident they will prevail through cooperation, friendship, and mutual understanding.
“When we look at what is happening in the context of the special military operation and what is happening in Republika Srpska after all these court decisions, this is our shared struggle, and I have no doubt that together we will certainly prevail,” Kalabukhov said.
He stressed that defending values, interests, and people requires strength.
“I hope this will be a year of our victories in the Russian Federation, Republika Srpska, and Serbia,” Kalabukhov said at the annual assembly of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society, Bosnia and Herzegovina Branch, held at the Osovica Monastery near Srbac.
Kalabukhov expressed gratitude to the organization for its efforts to strengthen ties with the Russian Federation and the Russian people.
“We want to establish the closest possible connections between people, because that is the guarantee of our relations not only today, but also in the future,” he emphasized.
In addition to the ceremonial admission of new members, the assembly presented the program activities planned for the coming year. Representatives of the organization highlighted its contribution to preserving the national interests of the Serbian people and the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Orthodox faith, with a particular focus on scientific, cultural, and educational initiatives.
