The “Golden Drops” Association has invited producers of fruit rakija, strong alcoholic beverages, and liqueurs to take part in a professional quality evaluation to be held on March 28, as part of the International Rakija Festival in Istočno Sarajevo.
All types of fruit rakija, strong alcoholic beverages, and liqueurs may be submitted for evaluation. Registered distilleries as well as private individuals are eligible to participate.
The evaluation will be conducted in separate categories, and the results will be published in bulletins for registered distilleries and for private individuals.
Each sample will receive a medal and a diploma for the achieved quality score, along with a detailed evaluation sheet containing scores for all criteria: color, clarity, typicity, aroma, and taste.
Samples will be assessed by a distinguished international panel consisting of President Ninoslav Nikićević and members Vele Tešević, Branko Popović, and Davorka Đukić Ratković.
On the day of the festival, an award and medal ceremony will be held, along with a workshop on fruit rakija production technology and an exhibition segment where numerous exhibitors from the country and abroad will present their products, according to the organizers from the “Golden Drops” Association.

The aim of the festival is to promote quality, encourage the exchange of experience, and improve the production of strong alcoholic beverages. The evaluation will be conducted in line with high professional and expert standards.
The organizers have invited all interested parties to take advantage of the opportunity to assess the quality of their products and to be part of an international festival that is gaining increasing importance and reputation each year.
The festival will be held in the hall at Republic of Serbia Square in Istočno Novo Sarajevo.
