Gradiška hosts premiere screening of first two episodes of the series “Osmica”

The city of Gradiška hosted the premiere screening of the first two episodes of the domestic TV drama series Osmica, a project supported by the Audio-Visual Center of Republika Srpska.

The series presents a contemporary story about young people, their choices, and their attempts to break free from the closed circle of everyday life.

Osmica is a story many viewers will recognize themselves in, as it addresses themes closely connected to the daily realities of young people in today’s society.

Through realistic and often humorous dialogue, as well as conflicts between characters, the series explores the lives of young people—their talents, flaws, friendships, and struggles to find a way out of the vicious circle in which they find themselves.

The first two episodes were produced using funds allocated for the development of the Audio-Visual Center of Republika Srpska, totaling 30,000 convertible marks. According to the Center, supporting domestic authors and productions remains one of its key priorities.

A total of ten episodes are planned for the first season.

The creators expect Osmica to find its audience and to secure additional sources of funding that would enable the completion of the entire first season and the continuation of the project.
