President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that British ambassador Julian Reilly was in Banja Luka today with a clear intention of once again stirring unrest and disorder in relations within Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and of trying to preserve structures that operate outside the legal institutions of power.
“Their destructive intent has long been known, as well as the hostility they continuously display toward Republika Srpska, which no longer needs to be specially proven. It is very interesting whom Reilly met with today in Banja Luka, as it is well known that he pushes his narrative about the alleged need to respect court decisions — the very ones he actively helped create, with the obvious goal of destabilizing Republika Srpska,” Dodik wrote on X.
He added that Reilly at the same time spoke about some “new partners” in Banja Luka, which further points to attempts to influence the internal political situation in Republika Srpska.
“Every one of his visits here should be taken seriously, because behind diplomatic phrases often stand intentions that are not in line with respecting the constitutional order and the interests of the people living here. He is here to sow confusion and disorder. His main goal is to ensure that migrants unwanted in his own country are settled in Republika Srpska and BiH. That will not happen,” Dodik stated.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska understands what such visits mean and therefore has every right to defend itself from known global system-destabilizers, embodied by ambassador Reilly.
