President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that following the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, major global changes are taking place without Europe, because it has no leaders capable of sitting at the same table with world leaders.
– That is why the powers over us here are flexing some foolish political muscles on Republika Srpska and Serbia – Dodik said in the RTRS Morning Program.
Dodik stated that the world had long awaited the meeting of the two global leaders, stressing that the meeting was not only aimed at achieving peace in Ukraine, but also at establishing a new geopolitical framework.
He emphasized that this represents the collapse of the EU and its politics, and an event that has predetermined new processes which we must understand and in which we must participate.
Dodik said that Europe and the previous US administration supported the war, believing they would bring Russia to its knees.
– The war has taken an enormous number of human lives, caused problems not only for Russia and Ukraine. They wanted to bring Russia to its knees through sanctions and exhaustion, but nothing happened. Europe entered into problems, lost its geostrategic position, and is now only a consumer of solutions determined by the great powers, not a participant in resolving issues – Dodik emphasized.
He noted that the Western structure conducting a hybrid war against Republika Srpska and the Serb people has not yet been defeated, but changes are underway.
