The decisions of the BiH Court and the Central Election Commission of BiH in the case of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, represent an unprecedented attack on Republika Srpska, Serbia, and the Serb people, stated the Belgrade Forum for a World of Equals.
They note that this is the culmination of years of unlawful and illegal actions by the illegitimate Christian Schmidt, an exponent of Western political circles, primarily the United Kingdom and Germany, actively assisted by political Sarajevo, with the intent to undermine Republika Srpska, primarily, and then the entire Serb people.
“The attack on the leadership of Republika Srpska is a hypocritical blow to the Dayton Agreement and its core principle – the equality of the three peoples and two entities, with the aim of achieving the strategic goal of the Muslims in BiH – a unitary BiH under their domination, which can only be achieved by weakening the Serb people and further marginalizing Croats in BiH, thereby nullifying the core principle of the Dayton Agreement. The ultimate goal of the United Kingdom and Germany, and thus the EU, is to take full control of the Balkans before the start of global negotiations on a new format for managing world affairs, for which it is necessary to weaken the Serbs in BiH and Serbia to the maximum,” the statement reads.
They called on all international institutions, primarily the UN, member countries of the UN Security Council, friendly countries, the constituent peoples in BiH, and all local factors to take responsibility and be aware of the illegality and dangers posed by the actions of Christian Schmidt, political factors and institutions in Sarajevo, and some international actors, urging de-escalation, Schmidt’s departure from BiH, respect for the will of the Serb people, and the return to constitutional and Dayton frameworks.
“In this difficult, complex, and dangerous moment, Serbia’s role as the guarantor of Dayton is to lead a diplomatic offensive in coordination with Republika Srpska and its strategic partners, and to be the strongest support for Republika Srpska,” the statement concludes.
