The Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed the first-instance verdict against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, his lawyer Goran Bubić confirmed to RTRS.
According to Bubić, the Court of BiH informed him by phone that both the defense’s and the BiH Prosecutor’s Office’s appeals were rejected, and the original verdict was upheld in full.
To recall, Dodik was initially sentenced to one year in prison and banned from political activity for six years for failing to comply with the decisions of Christian Schmidt.
