Some participants of the “Peace March” brought a large Palestinian flag into the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center.
They did so to raise awareness and draw attention to what is happening every day in that part of the world.
Around 6,600 participants of the “Peace March” reached Potočari after a two-and-a-half-day journey along a route approximately 100 kilometers long.
They traveled the reverse route of the one taken by the people of Srebrenica in July 1995 in an attempt to find safety.
Many lost their lives along the way, while some managed to reach Nezuk, in the municipality of Sapna, which was also the starting point of the “Peace March.”
