The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, stated that the Franco-German non-paper came after Republika Srpska had demonstrated to the international public that German citizen Christian Schmidt violated the Dayton Peace Agreement, was not legally appointed, and has caused the greatest post-Dayton crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stevandić noted that France and Germany, in an attempt to justify Schmidt’s actions, are now fully taking sides in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Taking sides in Bosnia and Herzegovina means that it is being divided by those who write non-papers, not by internal actors. The country can only survive through internal dialogue, not foreign intervention,” Stevandić told Večernje novosti.
He believes that this document will further escalate the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“I also believe that many citizens of all nationalities will come to understand that the initiators of conflict have always come from outside,” said Stevandić.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, informed members of the National Security Council yesterday about the non-paper drafted by France and Germany concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina, which also pertains to Republika Srpska.
“Members of the expanded National Security Council were informed about the document, guidelines were defined, and tasks were set regarding the scope of Serbia’s response to this issue,” stated Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Milan Mojsilović.
Večernje novosti reports that the document outlines a plan by Western powers and Brussels for a brutal offensive against the leadership of Republika Srpska—President Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, and National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić—with the goal of removing them from power under the pretext that the trio is working to dismantle Bosnia and Herzegovina and block its path toward NATO and the EU.
