Telić attends event honoring Florida congressman, invites him to visit Republika Srpska

Tatjana Telić, General Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago, attended a gala event held in honor of Florida Congressman Byron Donalds—widely regarded as a future governor of Florida—in Chicago, Illinois.

More than 1,200 people attended the event and formal dinner, where Congressman Donalds delivered an address.

“Ahead of the dinner, I participated in a roundtable discussion with the congressman, alongside about twenty selected officials. Participants had the opportunity to share their messages, ask questions, and engage in dialogue with Congressman Donalds,” Telić told Srna.

She emphasized that during the very interactive conversation on various current issues, she informed the congressman about the support Republika Srpska had given to U.S. President Donald Trump during the previous elections.

“I also briefed the congressman on the fact that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, openly called on all Serbs in America to vote for Trump, and that the Serbian community in the United States can and is ready to contribute to the development of a new America—one founded on values shared with the Serbs: freedom, faith, family, and a strong national identity,” Telić said.

She further informed the participants about the consequences of the globalist policies implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina by some of their predecessors in the U.S., and pointed to the need to build alliances and work together on developing future relations.

“I also informed Congressman Donalds about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing the need for urgent support for dialogue aimed at returning to the Dayton framework and normalizing relations. I invited Congressman Donalds, who is a candidate for Governor of Florida, to visit Republika Srpska. He once again affirmed the importance of the Serbian community, both in Florida and in Illinois,” Telić concluded.
