Dodik: It is important that the Serbian Assembly will also be held

“It is important that the Serbian Assembly will also be held, and Republika Srpska will present its positions,” said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, at a press conference alongside the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

He thanked the President of Serbia for his understanding.

“Republika Srpska is proud that you have responded tonight like no Serbian president before. Despite all the problems you face, you made it here. This is very important to us. We understand Serbia’s role as a peacemaker,” Dodik stated.

Dodik emphasized that this is crucial because Serbia is a signatory to the Dayton Agreement.

“We agree that we must preserve peace. I call on all people in Republika Srpska to maintain peace and stability. We are not attacking anyone; we have no war plans. We are ready to talk, but not to be ignored. We are ready to engage in discussions with everyone to find a way to make Bosnia and Herzegovina constitutional and sustainable for all, rather than losing the rights we have gained,” Dodik stated firmly.

He stressed that peace is the priority.

“As early as tomorrow, the leadership of Republika Srpska will call for talks. We do not need anything; we are not interested in a single centimeter of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor do we want to impose anything on them. We only want what the Constitution has granted us. I am offering to be in Sarajevo tomorrow at 10:00 AM if they are willing to talk. We are all ready for dialogue,” Dodik concluded.
