A concert by renowned artists Dejan Trkulja and Milan Savić was held last night in the Concert Hall of Banski Dvor.
As Trkulja himself noted, the concert was a musical journey through the countries where music for clarinet and piano was created, as well as through different epochs of musical composition.
The journey began in France during the Classical period with the performance of Second Sonata for Clarinet and Piano by composer François Devienne. The artists then moved to Italy, where they performed Introduction, Theme, and Variations by Gioachino Rossini, one of the most significant opera composers of the 19th century. The next stop on this musical voyage was Germany, featuring Three Romances for Clarinet and Piano by Robert Schumann, one of the greatest representatives of Romanticism.
The concert concluded with a performance of a composition by A. Shaw as a surprise for the audience, who enthusiastically followed this diverse and inspiring program.
This concert was not only an opportunity to enjoy classical music but also to explore the richness of musical styles and epochs, which the artists masterfully brought to the stage.
