Republika Srpska continues to support the Dayton Peace Agreement while rejecting the use of the Bonn Powers, according to Ana Trišić Babić, Acting Director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska.
In a post on the social media platform X, referring to her appearance on the programme Geo(Strategic) Direction of Republika Srpska, Trišić Babić stated that Republika Srpska remains committed to the Dayton framework while opposing what it considers externally imposed authority.
“We say ‘yes’ to Dayton, but ‘no’ to the Bonn Powers. We say ‘yes’ to European integration, but ‘no’ to the loss of our identity and the humiliation of Republika Srpska,” she said.
According to Trišić Babić, Republika Srpska currently enjoys its strongest international position to date.
She argued that Republika Srpska has become a respected partner whose views are heard and whose arguments receive increasing international attention.
Trišić Babić also said that Republika Srpska has become an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investment, adding that political progress has been accompanied by economic development.
“Political success is being followed by economic growth. Good years lie ahead for Republika Srpska,” she concluded.
