The premiere of the film “Pontoon Heart”, starring Marko Janketić and Marija Labudović in the lead roles, directed by Senad Šahmanović, is scheduled for January 29 at the Belgrade MTS Hall.
The story follows an unusual encounter between two young people: Tamara, a famous actress played by Marija Labudović, and Kidi, an auto mechanic portrayed by Marko Janketić.
An eccentric car enthusiast running a scrapyard on the city’s outskirts and a renowned actress already filling newspaper headlines are brought together by an old “Pontoon” car, inherited from her grandfather. Kidi is the only person in the city capable of restoring the vintage classic, and Tamara is the one who makes him realize that perhaps cars don’t have to be the center of his universe.
In addition to Janketić and Labudović, the cast features Rade Šerbedžija as Tamara’s grandfather, Miša Obradović, Pavle Popović, and others.
