“This is a great honor for all of Serbia, a recognition and a form of gratitude for everything we have done and will continue to do,” said Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević after the formal presentation of the Order of Republika Srpska, which was awarded to him by President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
“I believe that, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement, we will protect both Serbia and Srpska. We are the same people, we speak the same language, we share the same culture and history, and we have the right to share a common future as well,” Vučević emphasized.
Dodik stated that Vučević is a true friend of Republika Srpska and a devoted member of the Serb people, who fights for the affirmation and rights of his nation.
He also pointed out that under Vučević’s leadership, the Serbian government has continued to intensively develop relations between Srpska and Serbia at the highest level, within the framework of the Dayton Agreement and the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations.
Earlier, the Serbian Prime Minister was formally welcomed in front of the Palace of the Republic.
