The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, received the Czech Ambassador to BiH, Jana K. Lolić Šindelková, in an inaugural visit today in Banja Luka.
Višković wished the Czech Ambassador success in her work and expressed readiness for strong cooperation in the future, according to a statement from the Government’s Public Relations Bureau.
During the meeting, discussions focused on improving economic cooperation, with particular emphasis on the fields of energy, tourism, and road infrastructure.
The Prime Minister introduced the Czech Ambassador to the measures the Government of Republika Srpska has implemented to improve the business environment, including incentives for domestic and foreign investors.
Višković highlighted the potential of spa tourism as a significant opportunity for foreign investors, offering substantial incentives and a quick return on investment.
In the energy sector, the Prime Minister emphasized the priority of increasing the share of green energy in Europe, pointing out Republika Srpska’s hydro potential, as well as opportunities in solar energy, wind power, and biomass.
Višković reiterated that Republika Srpska is committed to the European path and has approved the Growth Plan document, which aligns 113 agreed measures, the statement said.
