A few days ago, Serbs respectfully paid tribute to Serb victims in Podrinje. Today, Bosniaks remember and honor their victims, said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.
“I want to address the public and call on everyone to mark this day in peace and dignity,” Dodik emphasized in a post on X.
He noted that, despite our differences, we must show respect for the pain and suffering that has affected many people of all nations and faiths in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Just as I expressed sorrow for the fallen Serbs, I express my condolences to the families of the fallen Bosniaks,” Dodik stated.
He called on all citizens to let the day pass in an atmosphere of peace.
“Avoid any provocations and behave responsibly and respectfully. Let our attitude toward this day demonstrate our commitment to peace, stability, and a better future for all people in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik emphasized.
