During a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that Russia is the only country that has remained true to the principles of the Dayton Agreement.
The Dayton Agreement has been undermined by the West, Dodik said.
Dodik expressed his gratitude for Russia’s strong stance regarding the Dayton Agreement.
- Thank you, of course, for your principled behavior and understanding related to the recent session of the UN General Assembly regarding Srebrenica, said Dodik.
He emphasized that, against the Constitution, an initiative related to the Srebrenica resolution was launched from BiH.
- The West took advantage of this opportunity. I remind you that 109 countries did not vote for this resolution, Dodik said.
He noted that the resolution does not contribute to understanding and reconciliation but rather adds to the problems.
