Dodik meets with Putin in St. Petersburg

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is currently underway in St. Petersburg.

Earlier, Dodik stated that he would request the President of the Russian Federation to consider ways to ensure the presence and visibility of Republika Srpska at the BRICS Forum.

He emphasized that he would thank the President of Russia for his clear stance in the United Nations General Assembly regarding the resolution on Srebrenica.

Prior to this meeting, Dodik met with the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov.

On this occasion, Dodik and Beglov signed the Negotiation Protocol and the Plan of Events for implementing the list of priority areas of cooperation between the Government of St. Petersburg and Republika Srpska for 2024-2026.

Earlier, President Dodik was awarded the “Yeltsin Presidential Library” medal, to which he presented the book “The Bridge on the Drina” in Russian.

Dodik also met with the leadership of the company “Russian Railways.”
