Karate athlete from the Karate Club “Energija” from Banja Luka, Pavle Dujaković, failed to qualify for the semifinals of the European Championship in Zadar. He was stopped in the quarterfinals in the category up to 60 kilograms, by competitor from Azerbaijan, Farid Savadov, with a score of 2-0.
Dujaković had previously defeated Imrich from Slovakia and Ribeiira from Portugal.
As Savadov lost to Arifi from Albania in the semifinals, Dujaković remained without a chance to compete in the repechage, where he would have fought for the bronze medal.
