The draw for the semi-finals of the BiH Cup has been conducted

The first semi-final matches are scheduled for April 3rd, with the return matches set for two weeks later. The final will also consist of two matches, scheduled for April 8th and 15th.

The team from Banja Luka, which has been delivering brilliant performances in the Premier League and the Cup this season, aims not only to win the title but also to achieve a double crown. They will face the team from “Pecara”, which realistically can only secure international competition through the BiH Cup.

Banja Luka will be the away team in the first match, and their camp is aware that they might have gotten the easiest opponent at the moment.

“We can be satisfied because we avoided Zrinjski, with whom we would have played two matches in a row, in the league and in the Cup. We have defeated Široki Brijeg in the league on their field, and I don’t see an advantage in the return match being on our field. We are more quality than them, and I believe we will advance to the final, and then we will win the double crown,” emphasized Borac’s assistant coach Boris Raspudić.

Captain of the “red-blues” Srđan Grahovac shares similar thoughts, hoping for a full stadium in the return match.

“Whoever we got would have been the same. I’m glad that the return match is in Banja Luka, and I expect the stadium to be filled to the last seat because we deserved it with our performances this season. I believe we can make it to the final, and then the double crown is close,” Raspudić highlighted.

Doboj’s Sloga has reached the semi-final of the most mass competition for the second time. The first time was in the 2012/13 season, when they experienced two defeats (2:4, 0:4) in a two-legged tie against Široki Brijeg. Although they now have the trophy defender and the current champion as their opponent, they aim to go further.

“Reaching the semi-final is a big success for us. Whoever we got as an opponent at this stage, they would slightly be the favorites, as all three teams are much more experienced than us in this competition. We hoped the return match could be on our field, but we were not lucky. Realistically, looking at the draw, Zrinjski and Borac are the favorites, if nothing else, because they are the hosts in the return matches. At the same time, they are the two highest quality teams in BiH, but that doesn’t have to mean much in such competitions, as the Cup often brings surprising results. I hope we are capable of doing something like that in the two-legged tie with the people from Mostar,” emphasized the head of Doboj’s technical staff, Vlado Jagodić.
