The top cyclists of Republika Srpska and the region will spend the coming days in the south of Srpska.
Vladimir Kuvalja, the director of the cycling federation of Srpska, insisted that this city be the host for this wonderful story.
“The conditions that Trebinje offers are unmatched by many cities in the region, with 300 sunny days a year, beautiful trails, and good roads, it certainly deserves the title of a regional center. Our goal is to have competitors from countries in the region spend their preparations here in the coming years, and in that way, we showcase the beauty of our Trebinje and, of course, Republika Srpska. We have been coming to Herzegovina for preparations for several years now and will continue to do so. The conditions are good, the citizens of Trebinje are great hosts, and that’s what matters most.
Besides training, I insisted that the competitors get acquainted with the history of this area because it’s important to know all parts of Srpska and the history of our country and its regions,” said Kuvalja.
Cyclists are extremely satisfied with the conditions and the hosts in the south of Srpska. This is highlighted by the champion of Republika Srpska, Đorđe Kupusović.
“First of all, I want to thank the Cycling Federation of Republika Srpska for their support and the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season. This means a lot to us, the atmosphere in the camp is excellent, the training conditions are good, the trails are great, and the people of Trebinje have shown themselves to be good hosts. All cyclists of Srpska had the opportunity to come and attend the preparations. The federation’s director, Kuvalja, is here with us, and his support, as well as his experience, mean a lot to us. Besides training, we have the chance to visit the beauties of the city and the region, and this area has a lot to offer,” highlighted Kupusović.
