Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović has expressed her deepest condolences to the families of EUFOR personnel who lost their lives in a helicopter crash near Brčko, paying tribute to their service in preserving peace and stability in BiH.
“I was deeply shaken by the news of the helicopter accident near Brčko in which EUFOR personnel lost their lives,” Cvijanović stated.
In a post on X, she emphasized the importance of the soldiers’ contribution to the EUFOR ALTHEA mission and their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in BiH.
“We will remember their service as part of the ALTHEA mission, dedicated to preserving peace and stability in BiH, with the respect and gratitude they deserve,” Cvijanović said.
“I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, as well as to the EUFOR Command, and wish the injured crew members a swift and successful recovery,” she added.
