The Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska has introduced heightened security measures following the terrorist attack in Belgrade, aiming to maintain public order, protect citizens and prevent potential security threats across Republika Srpska.
The additional measures include increased police presence and security precautions near facilities under special protection, as well as locations associated with the State of Israel throughout Republika Srpska.
Police strengthen protection of sensitive locations
According to the Ministry, the overall security situation in Republika Srpska remains stable and favorable.
Nevertheless, police officers will continue implementing additional measures based on ongoing security assessments.
These activities will be carried out in close cooperation with other relevant security agencies to ensure an effective response to any potential threats.
Ministry continues monitoring security situation
The Ministry of the Interior emphasized that it will closely monitor developments and take all necessary measures within its jurisdiction to protect citizens and their property.
The heightened security precautions are intended to prevent potential incidents and maintain public safety throughout Republika Srpska.
