Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has offered the assistance of the Government of Republika Srpska to the Ambassador of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina following the wildfires affecting parts of France.
In a letter to the French ambassador, Minić stated that moments of crisis require solidarity and humanitarian cooperation, regardless of national borders.
“In times like these, it is important to demonstrate that borders do not exist when humanity and assistance are at stake. For that reason, I wish to inform you that the competent institutions of the Government of Republika Srpska stand ready to provide the type of support that is currently most needed by your country,” the letter states.
Minić said Republika Srpska is prepared to offer assistance ranging from civil protection and medical response teams to logistical and technical support, as well as professional cooperation in mitigating the consequences of the wildfires.
