The European Union is prepared for the war in Ukraine to continue until the last Ukrainian, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said.
According to Dodik, the EU is willing to pursue its political objectives and strategic interests at the cost of other people’s lives.
“The war is being fought on the territory of Ukraine, but in essence it is the European Union’s attempt to weaken Russia. However, the opposite has happened. By insisting on prolonging the conflict, the EU is damaging its own economy. German Chancellor Merz’s statement that Germany’s economy has been in constant decline because it was built on inexpensive Russian energy supplies, which it no longer has access to, is the clearest confirmation of that,” Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik added that Russia would not be defeated and that the European Union would face the consequences of what he described as its irrational decisions for decades.
“The good fortune for the European Union is that Russia is led by Vladimir Putin. Had someone else been in charge, the consequences would have been far more tragic,” Dodik concluded.
