The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is one of the holiest sites in Christianity, and I am immensely happy that this is where I am beginning my visit to Israel, said Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Cvijanović noted that this holy site has for centuries brought together pilgrims from around the world, reminding them of the light of Christ’s Resurrection, the triumph of life over death, and the power of faith that overcomes all trials and challenges.
“While praying at this sacred place, I wished that the Lord would grant our people, all families and citizens of Republika Srpska health, peace and prosperity, faith and wisdom, harmony and unity, as a strong foundation upon which we will build a stable, secure and even more successful future,” Cvijanović wrote in a post on Instagram.
