The Municipality of East Sarajevo has announced a public call for the financing and co-financing of driving test expenses within the project “Earn Vuk’s Diploma and Get Your Driving Licence”.
“The right to full financing of driving test expenses is granted to all recipients of the Vuk Diploma from the final grades of the ‘28 June’ Secondary School and the ‘East Ilidža’ Secondary School Centre who have permanent residence in the Municipality of East Sarajevo. Students who do not have all final grades of five but have achieved excellent overall results will receive co-financing covering 50 per cent of the total costs,” the Municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo announced.
As stated, the municipal administration will cover all costs related to driver training, including medical examinations, first-aid training, theory tests, the practical driving test, driving lessons and other related expenses.
Recipients of the Vuk Diploma who have already passed their driving test will be fully reimbursed for the costs of obtaining a driving licence, while students who do not have all final grades of five but have achieved excellent overall results will be reimbursed 50 per cent of the total amount.
Applicants are required to submit the following documentation:
- Identity card – photocopy of both sides;
- CIPS residence certificate;
- Certified copies of school reports from the first through the final year of secondary school;
- Copy of a bank card or bank account number.
The public call will remain open until June 29.
The application form can be obtained at Office No. 4 in the Municipality of East Sarajevo building or downloaded from the municipality’s website.
Applications may be submitted on working days from 07:30 to 15:00 at Office No. 4 of the Municipality of East Sarajevo.
