SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that it is an honor for him to participate in the International Security Forum in Moscow, where he will have the opportunity to meet with officials of the Russia and friends of Republika Srpska, while once again confirming the unbreakable ties between Republika Srpska and Russia, based on mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding symbolized for years by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
- Republika Srpska supports the determination of Russia and President Putin in the just struggle to preserve their own national interests, because the world is stable only when Russia protects its security and dignity, as well as the rights of the Russian people wherever they live. Through his principled and firm stance, President Putin has for years remained one of the most important barriers against attempts to undermine Republika Srpska – Dodik stated.
He added that special attention would be given to the issue of the High Representative and foreign interference in the internal affairs of other states, where Republika Srpska and Russia share common positions.
- I am convinced that through strategic dialogue and cooperation between Russia and the United States, the world can once again achieve stability, peace, and mutual respect, which were seriously endangered by decades of irrational behavior from centers of power that tried to shape the world according to their own interests and standards. Such a policy could not bring peace, because it is impossible to build a stable world without respecting sovereignty, identity, and the right of peoples to decide their own future – Dodik wrote on the social network X.
He also recalled that at the same time this week, retired US General Michael Flynn, described as a friend of US President Donald Trump, will visit Banja Luka, where he is expected to establish his Gold Institute.
- We will also discuss economic cooperation with General Flynn, possibilities for new American investments, and connecting Republika Srpska with business and development initiatives from the United States. This is the best confirmation that Republika Srpska today is a place of open dialogue, cooperation, and common-sense politics. While others try to divide the world with new walls and conflicts, Srpska talks with both East and West, because we understand that without dialogue, mutual respect, and coexistence there can be neither peace nor development – Dodik stated.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska remains a pioneer of policies based on freedom, stability, and cooperation among nations.
