Milorad Dodik told RTRS that the European Summit on Economy and Security, organized by the Gold Institute for International Strategy and scheduled to be held in Banja Luka, is part of agreements reached with what he described as “American friends” in order to present the potential of Republika Srpska.
“We are acting pragmatically through concrete projects, and we are searching for that kind of connection between Republika Srpska and the United States. This demonstrates the importance of our efforts to attract people, while Republika Srpska, with all of its potential, is admittedly a small community in global terms, but we are trying to present our capacities in the proper way,” Dodik said.
He added that Željka Cvijanović and everyone working on these issues are encouraging people to take interest in what Republika Srpska has to offer.
“Now it is up to us to succeed. If we fail, it will not be good, but in any case we must succeed,” Dodik stated.
