Great success: “Mrs. Olga” wins top awards at the “Ljubica” Festival

The play Mrs. Olga, based on the work of Milutin Bojić and directed by Jug Đorđević, achieved major success at the 4th Festival of Theatres of Republika Srpska “Ljubica” in Gradiška.

This co-production of National Theatre of Republika Srpska and National Theatre in Belgrade triumphed at the festival, winning four major awards.

The expert jury named Mrs. Olga the Best Play of the Festival, while director Jug Đorđević received the award for Best Direction.

Awards for acting performances also went to Aleksandar Vučković, who was named Best Actor of the Festival, and Slađana Zrnić, who won the award for Best Actress. Young actress Isidora Davidović received the award for Best Young Actor.

The awards were accepted by National Theatre of Republika Srpska director Dijana Grbić and actress Slađana Zrnić.

These recognitions confirm both the artistic quality of the production and the successful collaboration between the two national theatres, while also reflecting the strong connection the play established with audiences throughout the festival.
