The third International Economy Fair “Banja Luka EXPO 2026” will take place from May 13 to 15, gathering more than 400 exhibitors and further strengthening Banja Luka as a key business hub in the region.
The event will be held at the Student City complex, covering over 15,000 square meters—an expansion of around 5,000 square meters compared to previous years. Exhibitors from eight countries are expected to participate, reflecting growing international interest.
Organized by Elite Fair and Vision of the Future Association, the fair is increasingly positioning itself as a regional platform for connecting companies, institutions, and investors.
President of the fair’s board, Slaviša Kovačević, emphasized that the event is evolving into a strong regional economic brand where concrete business deals are made, not just opportunities presented.
A key focus this year is networking between the business sector, institutions, and academia, seen as essential for sustainable economic development.
Partners of the event include the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and EXPO 2027 Belgrade, with a central presentation of EXPO 2027 for Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled as part of the program.
The main panel, titled “EXPO 2027 – A Development Opportunity for Serbia and the Region,” will be held on the opening day and will gather ministers from several countries.
The City Development Agency Banja Luka will contribute with a dedicated program focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and renewable energy.
In addition to companies, the fair will host banks, development agencies, and chambers of commerce, presenting funding opportunities and support programs. Local communities from across Republika Srpska will also showcase investment projects and development potential.
The event is held under the patronage of the institutions of Republika Srpska, with support from government bodies and the city of Banja Luka, while key sponsors include Unis Institute and Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska.
A special highlight of this year’s edition is a job fair organized by the Employment Service of Republika Srpska, where more than 30 employers will offer a wide range of job opportunities across different sectors.
