A scientific discussion titled “Republika Srpska and cooperation with Russia, the United States and the European Union” is underway in Banja Luka.
The opening address was delivered by Milorad Dodik.
Dodik said the world as it existed a few years ago no longer exists, and that today’s order is marked by chaos and relations not based on international law, but on force and the manifestation of power.
Speaking about foreign policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik said Bosnia and Herzegovina has no diplomacy, adding that it had previously been directed toward presenting Serbs negatively.
He stated that despite everything, Republika Srpska had established significant diplomatic contacts with Hungary, Russian Federation, China and, more recently, with the United States.
Among those attending the scientific discussion are Nenad Stevandić and Džerard Selman.
Participants also include academics Nenad Kecmanović, Darko Tanasković, as well as professors Željko Budimir, Aleksandar Vranješ and Aleksandar Pavić.
Earlier, Nenad Kecmanović was inaugurated as a foreign member of Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska.
