Dodik: Everyone at the UN should know that BiH has no Statehood Day

SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that everyone at the UN should be aware that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a Statehood Day, adding that by marking events related to Srebrenica, the UN Secretariat is directly contributing to the country’s disintegration.

Dodik stated that the UN headquarters will once again become a stage for manipulation, imagination, and what he called a Bosniak-Muslim spectacle, as a non-existent holiday will be commemorated — a relic of the communist past and a Bosniak-Muslim illusion that history can be rewritten.

“BiH has no Statehood Day, and everyone in the UN should know that. Such a holiday does not exist because there is no law establishing it. What exists is manipulation, which is ultimately tragicomic, as Bosniak Muslims simultaneously celebrate both their entry into and exit from the former Yugoslavia. It’s like celebrating both a wedding anniversary and a divorce,” Dodik wrote on X.

He added that the simultaneous marking of Srebrenica — for which only 86 out of 196 UN member states voted — shows that it is a Bosniak-Muslim scheme rather than the will of BiH or the majority of the international community.

“The UN Secretariat is directly contributing to the disintegration of BiH and undermining the institutions that should express the positions of all three constituent peoples,” Dodik said.
