Footballer Đorđe Despotović has continued his professional career in Thailand, joining the country’s most successful club, Buriram United.
Despite receiving numerous offers, the former Banja Luka Borac, Red Star Belgrade, Rubin Kazan, and Orenburg striker decided to sign with Buriram United, the most decorated Thai team, which will also compete in the AFC Champions League.
Despotović will be joined at Buriram by Goran Čaušić and Filip Stojković, both former Red Star Belgrade players.
Buriram United is one of the most prominent clubs in the Far East, regularly participating in the Asian Champions League.
