Today, Republika Srpska is stable. It seeks peace and stability but also demands adherence to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the provisions written in the Dayton Agreement, stated Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.
“If there is no movement towards that and if everything that is decadent and against the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement is not reassessed and brought into alignment with Dayton, we will reject it because we have no other choice,” Dodik emphasized.
Dodik stresses that the attempt to impose the notion in Republika Srpska that “might makes right”—forcing it to submit to externally imposed solutions—is a disastrous national policy that leads to the eradication of the Serb people in these areas and, above all, to the disappearance of Republika Srpska.
“We have not gone bankrupt, nor have we collapsed. We have fulfilled all our obligations. Today, we plan to strengthen pensions and salaries, social benefits, veteran allowances, and everything else we have planned for this year. Despite the difficult circumstances, we will meet our commitments because that is our responsibility,” said Dodik.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska and Serbia must further demonstrate their integral strength.
“Without hesitation, the national question must be placed above any internal disputes within the Serb political bloc. I call for peace and unity,” Dodik concluded.
