Officials of Republika Srpska extend New Year greetings

The officials of Republika Srpska have extended their congratulations to all citizens celebrating the Orthodox New Year.

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik issued a message on the occasion of the celebration of the Orthodox New Year 2025 to all citizens of Republika Srpska who follow the Julian calendar.

“To all citizens of Republika Srpska who celebrate the New Year according to the Julian calendar, I wish you to welcome it in good health and high spirits and that the New Year brings success and prosperity. With the hope that 2025 will be a year of progress, stability, and unity, I wish you a happy Orthodox New Year,” reads the message from President Dodik.

The Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, also extended her greetings, wishing a joyful and blessed New Year to all who celebrate it.

“On the occasion of the upcoming New Year, celebrated by adherents of the Orthodox faith according to the Julian calendar, I send my heartfelt congratulations. I wish you to spend this holiday in good health, joy, and family happiness, and may the New Year be marked by stability, progress, and prosperity in all areas,” Cvijanović emphasized.

Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković also addressed the citizens of Republika Srpska and BiH with his wishes.

“On behalf of the Government of Republika Srpska and in my own name, I wish all citizens of Republika Srpska and BiH who celebrate according to the Julian calendar a happy and blessed New Year. May 2025 bring you health, happiness, love, and prosperity and be filled with personal and collective progress. In the new year, I wish success to you and your families, strength to our community, and the wisdom to build a better future together,” Višković stated.

President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić also sent his greetings to all citizens, wishing that the holiday brings them peace, progress, prosperity, and family happiness.

“On behalf of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and in my own name, I wish all citizens celebrating according to the Julian calendar a happy and successful 2025,” said Stevandić.
