Vice President of Republika Srpska, Davor Pranjić, stated that the institutions of Srpska operate within their competencies while prioritizing the protection of all citizens’ interests.
- My relationship with the leadership of Republika Srpska remains constructive and is based on mutual respect – said Pranjić, to whom President Milorad Dodik transferred part of his powers during his postoperative recovery.
Pranjić, an orthopedic specialist by profession, emphasized that Dodik’s health condition impacts the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as evidenced by recent events.
- Postoperative recovery, especially from complex surgeries involving the digestive system, such as those on the esophagus and stomach, requires physical and mental rest. From my conversations with Dodik, I can conclude that he is coping well with the challenges of recovery, which is progressing as expected. However, it will take some time before he resumes his usual political tempo, especially given the demands of the political scene – Pranjić noted.
Commenting on the situation in BiH, Pranjić told today’s Bosnian edition of Večernji List that excessive interference by foreign actors could lead to complications and hinder the achievement of internal consensus.
Pranjić stressed that the key to BiH’s progress lies in open and honest communication among political actors, combined with mutual respect and a willingness to compromise.
- Only through dialogue and joint efforts can we achieve sustainable solutions that will ensure stability and prosperity for all citizens – said Pranjić.
He emphasized that domestic politicians must take responsibility for the country’s future through constructive cooperation with the international community, while focusing on internal agreements and resolving issues within BiH.
